Ethiopian Christian Center (ECC) is founded by Elias Taddesse
and Mesfin Tabour in 2004.
The Vision of ECC is to create a forum
where a network of information is communicated among Ethiopian Churches
around the world.
Our Mission is to provide useful information emphasizing
Christians role in the developmental aspect of Ethiopia's spiritual,
economical, cultural and political issues.
Our Values are to strongly
encourage the churches' effectiveness on its greatest "commission",
evangelizing and communicating the Gospel. In the process, we mean to
create amid Christian leaders a culture of constructive criticism and
appreciation for one another. And most importantly, to mobilize churches
and ministries toward one goal, that is for the church to carryout the
Christian living standards, as set by the word of God. Last but not
least, our objective is to positively impact Ethiopian churches and
believers to be an informed community through the exchange of practical
information.
Statement of Faith
We believe that God exists externally in the three persons of the trinity:
The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
We believe that the bible is the infaliable word of God.
We believe that God created the whole universe and made human beings in his own image.
We believe that Jesus Christ is the internal son of God, conceived by the Holy spirit and born of the virgin Mary.
We believed that he lived a sinless life, died for us on the cross, rose bodily from the grave, ascended into heaven and he intercedes for us.
We believe that Jesus Christ is the only mediator between God and human beings.
We believe that the Holy spirit works in the lives of believers, with all his gift to empower the body of christ to live a holy life and serve God until Christ returns.
We believe that the lord Jesus Christ will return to establishhis Kingdom. He will raise the dead and judge all human beings, the wicked shall be separated from God's presence, but the righteous shall live with him forever.
